Drugstore Treasures Part II

Being a drugstore beauty queen is no easy task. To earn the title, you must amass a vast array of product knowledge; invest time in testing goods; and most importantly, be on the constant search for the latest and greatest treasures on the market.

Sound daunting? If so, then leave the work to me. I’ll be sharing all my beauty secrets including must-have picks from your local pharmacy.

I’m still loyal to last year’s drugstore treasures, but since I’m consistently on the lookout for new products, I’ve accumulated a few extra “necessities” which nicely incorporate into my existing collection.

Maybelline Instant Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer

While viewing a MakeupByTiffanyD video, she raved about Maybelline’s Instant Rewind Concealer. Now when Tiffany raves, a girl needs to pay attention! This concealer creates the perfect coverage without feeling pasty or heavy. Why pay exorbitant prices for high-end cosmetic lines, when for a fraction of the price, you can score a killer under-eye concealer?!

Crest 3D White Multi-Care Whitening Rinse

Claiming to contain the same ingredients as Crest White Strips, it was a no-brainer to purchase Crest 3D White Multi-Care Whitening Rinse. Use twice daily, this mouthwash is not only refreshing, but it’s proven to keep your breath fresh and your pearlies white.

Swissco Wet Comb Wide

Tangled tresses are literally a pain to deal with, and if you have thick, long locks, the only solution to stop wet-hair-snarls, is the forgiving teeth of a wide-tooth-comb. After you shampoo and condition your hair, and while still in the shower, swipe your comb through your locks, instantly taming even the wildest manes.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters have reached “daily essential” status in my beauty bag. A creamy balm infused with serious shine, this collection features twenty shades, enough to keep any girl happy! It’s not another uninspiring tinted lip balm or sloppy, gloopy gloss; Revlon has crafted a hydrating lip product, which is easy to apply (just like Chapstick), and works for any occasion.

Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner

I loathe lousy shampoos and conditioners. I’ve experimented with a number of brands, which have left knots, damaged ends and greasy roots. With a bevy of options to enhance shine or keep curls twisted tight, Pantene shampoo and conditioner is my affordable savior.
